Irene is an experienced project leader with a background in infrastructure and spatial planning, as well as the development of electric vehicles. She studied Technology, Policy & Management and Civil Engineering at the TU Delft, where she also served as a manager of the Solar Boat Team and contributed to online education on electric transportation. Hereafter, she gained experience at an engineering firm. At EVConsult, she combines her technical background with her societal engagement to accelerate the transition to emission-free transportation and zero-emission construction. Being fluent in both technical and policy language, Irene can bring together stakeholders  sustainable solutions. She lives in Amsterdam, from where she bikes through the entire country, or she takes the train to her favorite destination: the mountains.
